Easy Four Ingredient Marinated Onions
So I have been doing the Whole30 for February, and let me tell you- I feel great but I am ready to be done! One of my favorite recipes is my four ingredient marinated onions. they are great for so many things- I have used them while roasting a whole chicken, over burger patties, and on salads. You can also grill them to make for a wonderful topping as well!
You will need:
1 red onion; thinly sliced
1/2 c. EVOO
1/4 c. Red wine
1 tbl. Oregano
Mix all ingredients together and let sit at room temperature for 6 hours or overnight. Will last for about five days at room temperature.
That's it! That is literally all there is to it. I love bringing these on trips, especially when I'm working six days straight. I can just grab a burger patty and side salad from the hotel restaurant in a pinch and add these to make for a healthier alternative. Enjoy and happy flying!
